The Liquidity Provider Pain Points the Performance Tracker Solves

Throughout this series, we've covered how pools work, what Impermanent Loss is, how to calculate ROI, and why comparing positions requires context. This post wraps up the series by showing, pain point by pain point, how the SafeVault Performance Tracker solves the everyday problems of providing liquidity on Uniswap and Aerodrome.

"I don't know if I'm making money"

Accumulated fees aren't profit. For each position, the Tracker shows capital invested, current value, pending and collected fees, ROI, APR, and realized and unrealized returns. And the pool vs. hold comparison answers the question that matters most: was it worth more than simply holding the tokens?

"My spreadsheet is always out of date"

You enter your wallet's public address — no private key, no signature — and the Tracker finds your positions and reads events straight from the blockchain. Price, composition, fees, and returns update on their own.

"I have positions across multiple DEXs and wallets"

Uniswap V3 and V4 and Aerodrome Basic and Slipstream, on Base, Ethereum Mainnet, and Robinhood Chain — and the list of networks and protocols keeps growing. Everything shows up consolidated in a single portfolio, with multiple wallets and the same metrics for every position.

"AERO never makes it into the numbers"

Staked positions on Aerodrome earn AERO emissions on top of trading fees — and many tools only show the fees. In the Tracker, rewards count as fees across all metrics.

"I can't see all my ranges at once"

With several positions in the same pair, each with a different range, it's hard to tell where the price sits relative to all of them. The Tracker plots your positions on a horizontal bar chart with the current price marked: each bar is a position's range, and the bar's height shows the capital allocated to it. At a glance, you see every position, which ones are in or out of range, how far each is from the edge, and where most of your money is.

"I went out of range and only noticed days later"

The app alerts you when a position goes out of range and when there are fees to collect. An out-of-range position is idle capital; the alert shortens that time.

"Which position needs attention right now?"

Each contract gets a Health Score from 0 to 100. It combines criteria such as how much of the capital is in range and away from the edges, whether income depends on a single position, and efficiency — your position's fee velocity divided by the pool's. Efficiency above 1× means your capital is earning more than the pool average; below that, it's time to revisit your range.

"Deposits and withdrawals mess up my returns"

ROI is time-weighted for each deposit and withdrawal using the Modified Dietz method, and the statement shows every position event — deposits, withdrawals, and collections — along with historical cash flow.

"Would another pool earn more?"

Making money doesn't mean your capital was used well. Pool Benchmark compares your positions with other pools, strategies, and time periods. In the contracts tab, you see your position's fee velocity side by side with the pool's, over 24h and as a 7-day average. And the Tracker suggests pools you don't have yet, ranked by fee velocity.

"I forget about positions I've already closed"

The history keeps the full lifecycle of every position, open and closed. That way, your portfolio results include what went wrong — not just what's open today.

What the Tracker doesn't do

The Tracker doesn't move funds or choose a strategy for you. It only reads public blockchain data and organizes the numbers so the decision is yours, with complete information.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Tracker have access to my funds?
No. It only uses your wallet's public address, which anyone can look up on the blockchain. Without a private key, nothing can be moved.

Which protocols are supported?
Uniswap V3 and V4 and Aerodrome Basic and Slipstream, on Base, Ethereum Mainnet, and Robinhood Chain. New networks and protocols are added continuously.

Does it find old positions?
Yes. It reads the blockchain history, including positions that have already been closed on supported protocols.

Conclusion

LP pain points keep repeating: not knowing your real results, spreadsheets that go stale, rewards left out of the numbers, and positions that go out of range without warning. The SafeVault Performance Tracker solves each one with the same principle: data straight from the blockchain, the same methodology for every position, and comparison with the alternatives.
