Security,
no nonsense.
Direct answers. SafeVault shields your seeds with advanced encryption and a fully offline architecture.
Is SafeVault a wallet?
No. SafeVault does not manage transactions or hold balances. It is a dedicated offline security layer designed to protect seed phrases.
Is my seed phrase stored on the internet?
No. All encryption happens locally on the device. No data is transmitted online.
What is stored in the QR Code or SafeVault Card?
Only an encrypted vault containing protected data.
What if someone finds my QR Code or SafeVault Card?
Without the correct master password, the data remains unreadable.
Does SafeVault use servers?
No. The security model is completely offline. Without physical access to the QR Code or SafeVault Card containing the encrypted vault, there is no data available online to access or attack.
Is the seed stored on the iPhone?
No. The data exists only in volatile memory and is cleared via zeroing immediately after processing, ensuring no trace remains on the device.
How is the cryptographic key created?
Derived from the master password using PBKDF2-SHA256 with multiple iterations.
Which wallets does it work with?
Any wallet compatible with BIP-39 seed phrases.
Two-part security model
Recovery requires both the physical vault and the master password.
Without both, recovery is impossible.
How the vault remains protected
The physical vault alone does not reveal the seed phrase. Without the correct password, the contents remain encrypted and unreadable.
The cryptographic key is derived from the master password and used only during the local encryption / decryption operation on the device.
Protect your master password
It is one of the two components required to access the vault.
Protect your seed the right way
Use SafeVault to add a dedicated offline layer of protection.
